Clarksville Parks and Recreation is hosting an afternoon full of fun for dog owners and lovers. This event is organized as an opportunity for dogs and their owners to socialize with other dogs and dog lovers, as well as create awareness in the community about the dog park facility. This year there is a special focus on raising awareness on providing good homes for dogs and dogs available for adoption.. Draughon’s Junior College is sponsoring an adoption drive and will have pets available for adoption at the event. There will be contests and demonstrations, area business that provide services and products for dogs will also be at the event all afternoon with giveaways and the latest information on animal care.
