Oviedo is a progressive city on the rise. Despite the economic downturn, Oviedo benefits from a variety of positive characteristics including one of the highest average household incomes in Central Florida, the positive influences of being in close to UCF, the UCF Research Park and the Kennedy Space Center. Oviedo also has approved plans and funding for a public/private partnership to develop a new town center which is known as Oviedo on the Park.
