American Lung Association annual Walk for Life & Breath at Chase Center on the Riverfront Your Chance To Help the thousands of people in Delaware who suffer from emphysema, asthma, lung cancer, COPD and other forms of lung disease. To register or make a tax deductible donation, visit www.lunginfo.org. All you need to do is walk 2 miles, 1 lap or just come for the health fair. Support the team, Fighting for Air, or create your own team of family and friends. Come out to support this worthy event here in Delaware!

On Saturday, November 7^th 2009, Delaware Futures' will be hosting their Inaugural 5K Run. The run will be located at the Wilmington Riverfront and kicks off at 9:00am. Onsite registration opens at 8:00am. Racers will automatically receive a T-shirt displaying the student artwork of the name and logo of this run. The entry fee will be $16.00 until November 4^th, 2009 and $20.00 on the day of the event.

In today's society, a high school education no longer guarantees a bright future. As college has become more imperative, it has also become an unattainable goal to many students. Lack of preparation and finances often lead to many students not fulfilling their dream of attending a college or university. Delaware Futures, a college preparatory organization, not only assists students throughout high school, but helps their college aspirations come to pass.
