Administer Justice relocated to Elgin, IL earlier this year continues to help thousands of vulnerable individuals gain access to justice.  Whether single moms in need of support, single fathers seeking to establish a relationship with their children, elderly victims of fraud, the disabled, minorities, those who speak a different language, and others in need of assistance with basic health and human services, Administer Justice is often the last hope.

I had the priviledge to serve as their Chairman of the Board from roughly 2000 - 2008.  Since this time the ministry continues to grow and serve as their capacity allows.

Below is an opportunity for you to find out more about how you may play a part in serving as a volunteer or by making a contribution so that others may benefit by your generosity.  Be sure to check out their website at www.AdministerJustice.org.  A little generosity can go a long way to help others in our community.

I Will Donate

How can my support make a difference?

Administer Justice does not charge for services and relies solely on the support of individuals, businesses, churches and grant providers.  Without your support we cannot provide stability and security to families in need.  Families like Elizabeth, a single mom, whose ex-husband filed an order of protection against her as a means of getting custody of the children and avoiding the payment of support.  Administer Justice's intervention in court prohibited such abuse of the domestic violence process.  The children were returned and Elizabeth is receiving the support she needs to care for her children.

Each year Administer Justice helps thousands of vulnerable individuals gain access to justice.  Whether single moms in need of support, single fathers seeking to establish a relationship with their children, elderly victims of fraud,  the disabled, minorities, those who speak a different language, and others in need of assistance with basic health and human services, Administer Justice is often the last hope.

Where does your support go?

Our last audit showed that 0.96 of every $1.00 went directly to programming and that Administer Justice maintains a $45.23 return on investment.  This means that for every one dollar of donation Administer Justice is able to provide over $45 of professional services to the disadvantaged.  There are not many charitable organizations that can achieve this level of service with your donation.   To view our Form 990 and for additional information view our profile on guidestar.org by clicking HERE...

With the help of people like you...

Our pledge of "justice for all" can only be realized when low-income individuals have access to justice for secure housing, safety from abuse, protection from fraud, security in child support payments, and preventative legal education.

As a major study on the legal needs of low-income Illinoisan's recently concluded: "'Equal justice under law' must not be a mere slogan. It is our nation's promise. We can do better. We must do better." The Legal Aid Safety Net: A Report on the Legal Needs of Low-Income Illinoisan's 2005.

Planned Giving (Options Beyond A One Time Gift)

When you donate money to an organization you want that money to benefit someone in need. There are many worthy causes which compete for your support.

Consider advice given by experts in a recent issue of Money magazine: "Consider directing some of your giving to smaller organizations and less popular causes that don't have the money for big fund-raising appeals...You may also get a better feel for the impact of your contribution if you direct at least some of your giving to organizations within your own community."

Consider our matching gift opportunities and designated gift opportunities for specific needs.

Also, consider other giving methods such as stocks, life insurance, estate gifts and other planned giving opportunities.
