New Mexico Forms Updates...2010 Purchase Agreement

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner with Living Albuquerque 16784

Earlier this week I attended a class at the Greater Albuquerque Association of Realtors.  it was "The Anatomy of A Purchase Contract," taught by Mrs. Marketta Damonte.

At the end of the class, I was so impressed I decided that I am going to blog about it this week. I feel like the NMREC, CARNM, RANM and GAAR are moving us in the right direction.  There are some new addendums to the purchase agreement which in my opinion will make our job as REALTORS easier. I will just highlight two forms, the RANM Form 101, Purchase Summary Sheet and the RANM form 1530 Back Up Offer Addenrum.

I received 4 CE Credits for the class, but credits aside, I learned so much in that class, I would encourage other other REALTORS to attend this class.

Hi Lloyd,

I don't know the RANM 1530, I'll have to go check it out.

Stay on top of your CE credits or you'll be like one of the slackers that you see down a the board trying to take 30 credits in one month!

That was quite an interesting experience this week. I cannot believe that folks find it difficult to get 30 Hours is 3 years.  I don't believe I want to be in that crowd.  Just got my license renewed in May, so it's just a matter of choosing what classes I want to take.  What classes have you taken Rich?  Are there any that you would recommend?  I will be taking on on Septic Systems and on Water Rights.

By the way if you haven't taken Ric Thom's Practical Application of Real Estate Contracts, it's a good one

Yes, I'm sure Rick's class is well taught. He actually helped me write up my first two REC's.

I have been taking CRS classes for my credits. If you haven't taken CRS courses I would receommend them highly.

The new forms and ongoing updates are making a difference especially with how zip forms makes them immediately available. I have found many Realtors are "surprised" when the new forms appear in the offer process and I have discovered they often provide my clients with a competitive advantage.

Know-how in using the new tools including staying current with the forms and innovations such as http://www.docusign.com can make difference in your business.
