I don't know why I didn't think of this before. The results were astounding. I added a page, "Internet Links with Help for Foreclosures," to my web site and the hits went through the roof. Most visitors also check my page set up with sales data on every surrounding city, town and village. They also check out many other pages on my site. The hit counts soared.
It was simple to set up. I searched the Internet to find links of legitimate sites for organizations who help people facing foreclosure. The best site is a page on the HUD web page.
Foreclosure Avoidance Counseling

This will show you a map of the US. Click on your state and copy the links for your area. Post them on your site and watch the ratings go through the roof. Post a link to the page on Localism. This seems to have the best results for a link back to your site.
I don't deal with foreclosures and short sales but I would suspect this may also result in a lot of leads. Call the local organizations and they may be able to supply you with a list of clients who may have to consider a short sale. At the very least they will share stories about the many people who have lost money to scammers taking advantage of this situation.
The best thing of all, you are spending your time helping people and putting a positive image on our profession.
Here is a link to my page so you can see how easy it is.

Dennis,
This is a very good idea, thanks for sharing! Did you just search the internet and came up with all the links, or was some of them provided by local organizations?
