Removing Sold Listings from the Internet
Buyers - here's even more reason to contact me directly to set you up for your home search. When you read the following you will see how certain sites have outdated information that just causes you to waste your time searching for properties that may not even be available to purchase.
There are accurate sites out there but non will be more accurate than the one I set you up with. When you're ready to look for your home give me a call. I look forward to helping you.

www.RealEstateDeals.weebly.com Nationwide Home Searches
Help! My home still shows up "for sale" on the internet.
A recent buyer called in distress that the home she now owns shows up on some websites as an active listing. It's been about a week so I thought I would compile a list of sites that are accurate and those that are slow in updating their records. There are many syndicators that have updated their sites. Others aren't as meticulous in keeping data current:
Accurate Sites
- movoto.com
- estately.com
- realtor.com
- realestate.com
- listingvue.com
- almost all the real estate brokerages in Sonoma and Marin correctly display "no longer listed".
Outdated Sites
- redfin.com
- Trulia.com
- Zillow.com
- sawbuck.com
- sf.blockshopper.com
- neighborcity.com
- Listing broker's site plus his circletour site.
- Local brokerage group. Nameless for a week to see if they comply with my request.
Unfortunately, several of the sites I found were in explicit violation of the BAREIS MLS IDX rules. The only listings that should show up on any site are active and contingent listings. I notified several of the violators that they were displaying this sold listing incorrectly. Now I will sit back and watch to make sure they do their job. This is an issue of privacy for the new owners who deserve the freedom to be undisturbed by house hunter who found the outdated listing online.
Please enjoy visiting any of my sites
