Several times I`ve spoken to many other Realtors in my office about the Blogosphere! They kept telling me that th Blogdom is the wave of the future and i refused to believe them! I guess I`m old fashion. my attitude is "if it`s not broken, why fix it?

Recently,l we held a sales meeting and the entire meeting was about, you guess it "Blogging". I started realizing that lead generation and exposure in the blogdom really works based on the results of my co-workers and friends. What truly impresses me, is that the people who seem to Blog on Active rain seem to be ahead of the curve with new and fresh ideas!

I guess you can teach an old dog new tricks!

Omar,

Welcome to Active Rain.

Yep, there are a few of us "old dogs" here. Last week I was at a CRS event on blogging. Yet when asked how many people are blogging only about 1 out of 10 said they were. Now that really surprised me with such a group.

Jump on the bandwagon now and get a move on it.  In another 5 years (if that long) nearly everyone will be doing all their research online to find a home, and if you're not there....good luck finding business!

A lot of things that use to work, no longer work now.  More and more people are looking to the Internet to get the answers to their questions.  And the more info they can get, the less they need to leave their homes to find it.

The age of people that grew up on computers are getting older.  Those are the people that are going to be or are buying homes.  As time goes on, it's going to completely change to nothing but Internet.

So you can jump on the bandwagon now and get ahead start or continue to think it doesn't work and watch others around you get business while you're still doing things the old fashion way.

The Internet is a very powerful tool to have!  Good luck!
