When Pets Are Forgotten: The Follow-Up

By
Real Estate Agent with Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage

To all who respond,

Thank you for your response to my story. I am quite sure that the Real Estate Agent that had this listing had no knowledge of the abandoned dog.

The rear door had been pried as the jamb was split and the door left unsecured.

My belief is that the previous owner most likely returned to place the animal in the home knowing that it would fowl up the place and that someone would probably come along in a reasonable time frame.

The real estate agents often do not tend to foreclosures as dilligently as an owner occupied property.

I did however call to have them secure the home and to encourage a more watchful viglience.

All my best to you and yours,

Robert Kaufman

Robert, are you working foreclosures?  I read your other post and found it to be very revealing.  Thank you for your consideration for man and animals!
