I had a conversation the other day with a Realtor and they were under the assumption that jumbo financing is very hard to get. I could not Disagree with him more, yes the credit requirements have tightened, and depending on the loan amount the loan to value has gone down. On the other hand the rates are incredibly low right now on jumbo loans, as I posted in the last week my 5 year jumbo arm is very low, as well my 30 year fixed jumbo program! If you have jumbo listings, have your mortgage lender put out some yard signs to help promote these programs.
