Yes schools are important in home buying decision according to consumers. That is why I created tours of all the schools and a fully searchable data base with Washtenaw school closings, claendars, and school websites. I arrived before school started and after school ended to avoid featuring students. I have had relocating families appreciate that the transferring children could go see inside their new school before starting school to see that it would be OK. I don't know of any other REALTOR who has done this. With the advent of video, I suppose it may be easier but this is still time intensive. Luckily we have had some new schools built and I get to update the Ann Arbor school tours for Ann Arbor Real Estate Buyers.
