Proxy error after Proxy error and Did I MENTION Proxy error

I hate to dedicate a blog post about this but it seems as though all I'm getting today is a proxy error with the proxy server receiving an invalid response from an upstream server.  I'm getting all kinds of errors including the proxy server could not handle the request.  I read a week ago that active rain is working to resolve this issue with the addition of a few more servers.  I was wondering if anyone knows if this has been completed yet and if not do they know when this proxy error thing should go away?  I usually do not mind getting one or two proxy errors but when everything I do is proxy errors it can become frustrating so I would appreciate it if anyone has an answer to my question.
