I love taking photos of the homes I list and I change them every few weeks. Sometimes, I take 50, both inside and out. I rename them - I post them to my MLS listings - I create new flyers -- I always get comments from the sellers that they really liked the photos - so I know I'm doing a good job- however I just can't seem to stop taking photos of trees, flowers and all the signs of spring this year.
Is it that I'm just finally starting to appreciate nature? No, I've always loved nature - it's just that this year - things are popping out at me----maybe things are brighter or maybe I'm just appreciating things more. Every morning - I look out at the trees in my front yard which are ornamental pear trees. There were three and we lost one last year (2009) as they are very weak and will usually lose a limb or two during storms until finally - they cannot stand on their own. I was hard to cut it down but it was time. They are breathtaking - see below for yourself---they are so BEAUTIFUL!!!
Anyway - As I drive around town - camera always in hand or rather in my car - it seems I can't just drive by anymore. If it catches my eye - I pull over to a safe spot or park and get out and just start clicking away.
We've all heard the saying - "Wake up and smell the roses" - Now I get it!!! Maybe it's a sign of getting older - but I am definitely enjoying what nature has to offer - I hope you are too.
Another beautiful site - White Plains Road, Trumbull CT - Veterans Memorial
