Not only is this an outstanding way to say, "Thank you," to our often underappreciated heroes-next-door, but the program also helps populate the communities hardest-hit by the recession with quality residents who truly serve their neighbors.
In exchange for purchasing a HUD foreclosure at 50 percent under the home's list price, the buyer must commit to living in the property for 36 months as their sole residence.
