I love these flowers. I remember seeing them a lot when I was growing up in Tennessee. I don't see them too much here in Colorado. Thanks for the post--nice photos.

Wow, that is a lot of flowers.  I notice a lot growing this year here, it must had been helped by the earlier rains.

Diane, Yes there were a lot in this one area.  It seemed like they were raised as a crop...for what end use I'm not sure.
