Top of Google in Five Minutes! INSTANT Google Juice! The POWER of ActiveRain!

Thought this was a great post!  I will definetly use some of the ideas to try and get my blogs up on Google.  Cannot wait to take some training classes so I can learn to be a better, more succesful blogger!

Original content by David Cahill

I've seen many posts on this subject but doubted that it could actually happen to me.  After attending Raincamp in Boston a few weeks ago, I learned a few keys things that will make Google LOVE my blog and decide that it's important enough to put up to the top because it's so relevant.

These are things I had already learned when I first joined ActiveRain but never really put to use.  I decided to try it out since there were definitely some very hyper local long-tail searches which did not have much in terms of valid results.google juice

I decided to post a blog entitled "Three-Family Foreclosures in Dorchester, MA".  Why?  Because Ben Kinney told me to, that's why.  He explained that the title should be the same phrase as what people are going to be typing into the search bar in Google.

Not only was this hyper-local (Dorchester is an area in Boston), but it's about a certain type of home (foreclosures).  This seams like a valid and perhaps common search, but there wasn't any good information out there that was a good match when I searched for it myself.  This's why I decided to write about it.  And it was easy, too, because it's one of my specialties!

Ben also told us to make the blog 300-500 words, which it is, and make sure to repeat the phrase at the very start of your blog and at the very end as well.  Also, it needs to be repeated 2-4% of the time, which it almost is.

There are also a few outgoing links from the blog: my website and buttons to my Facebook and Twitter pages, which I just added.

Now, whenever someone is looking for this type of information, my blog will come up first and they will click on it, read it and give me the business I'm looking for!

I'm looking forward to writing about other subjects that do not have a lot of matches but will be relevant in today's market.  Thanks ActiveRain!

Thanks for reading!
