Oklahoma City Distressed Homeowners Should Not Wait to Act

The statistics between what homeowners in default in Oklahoma City and everywhere are in opposition to what they really do. National stats say that 85% of homeowners say that if they were in default and worried about foreclosure they would call a REALTOR®. Problem is 7 out of every ten homeowners who are foreclosed on never call a REALTOR0174, lose their home, and have a credit disaster. Why is this?

First, I think it is a sense of shame. Many believe despite the job loss, or the medical bills, or the divorce, this shouldn't happen to them so they don't want to share it with anyone. Too often they come to their senses at the last possible moment when avoiding a foreclosure is a very small possibility. Sometimes they have so many bills they also feel overwhelmed, not realizing that these can be negotiated, and the foreclosure is the albatross around the neck of the mariner they should do everything to prevent.

But sometimes they do call a REALTOR®, but one who has little experience at short sales. This is not a time for amateurs, or a throw it up against the wall and see if it sticks mentality, not r is it a time for the ole college try. Experience and knowledge combined with negotiation skills that comes from many short sale transactions is the only way. As CDPE's we are the only short sale designation endorsed by Bani of America, the largest holder of troubled assets today. We also have the benefit of hundreds of short sales successfully negotiated, and are daily looking for new information that can help a family from this awful time into a better future.

If you are an Oklahoma City homeowner in distress and you need to trun to someone who understands your problems and has solutions, we are here to help.
