Thankful Thursday - My Son's Blessing This Thanksgiving

When the seasons change, sometimes we hardly notice, and other times it is brutally clear.

With today being Thanksgiving, most of us took a moment and reflected on the blessings that we are grateful for. On this Thanksgiving, I am extremely grateful that my Son's Father made it through his open heart surgery. What a wonderful blessing that they were able to celebrate Thanksgiving together.

We are never promised tomorrow, so make sure that everyone that is dear to you know how much you love them. You do not want your seasons to change without them knowing exactly how you feel.

Wonderful thoughts, Diane! A few years back, the father of children, had a heart attack on the day after Thanksgiving! He ultimately ended with a quadruple by-pass. Although the two of us are no longer married, he is still a wonderful part of our family. I remember the anxiety we all felt during that time.
