I'm thrilled to be working this week, and to have my phone practically ringing off the hook! I've gotten several calls on current inventory, both short sales and resales.
The short sale in particular is an interesting example: I just listed it Friday, and really thought I would not have any activity until today. It's well priced, but I just figured with the holiday, the phone might start ringing today.
WRONG! 4 scheduled showings as of this typing, and the first agent wanted to show it yesterday. I just got off the phone with an agent who may be bringing me an offer by end of day today!
The other is a listing that has been languishing a bit, as the seller was reluctant to believe me it need a price improvement. We finally got it into the correct range in the past month, and the showings flew through the roof; I've got an offer on it currently, however, had another phone call on it today as well.
Both home are in Ponte Vedra Beach, a sought after area in St. Johns' County, Florida, and home of the TPC.
It just goes to reinforce what I like to say: Properly priced, properly presented listings WILL sell.
