31 Days of December Challenge - Day Number 30

Day number 30 – Next to last day of the challenge and next to last day of 2010. More time spent today on the transaction that should have closed last Monday. The payoff was wrong and the very savvy seller caught it. She will Closing be bringing money to closing and is counting every penny. However, she did not make her payment in December. This is not something I usually tell people---make your payment. I will make a note to make sure I tell them to make their payment!!Lender finally got the package to the title company at 3:30. Title company rushed and got HUD back to lender so we could close on Friday. Lender closed early and no one there to approve HUD. Frustrating. Hopefully we will close on Monday!!

Major decisions being made regarding my business that I am not at liberty to share. Looks like no major changes will be made. A relief to have the decision made so that I can proceed!

Those last minute delays are so annoying. I learned that with my first closing 24 years ago. It was delayed three times, but it didn't discourage me or I wouldn't be here today.

Making decisions, especially big ones, weigh heavy until you finally make a decision. Good luck. I will be back in 2011.

Charles--As you know all too well, we have to take the business as it comes, no matter what else is happening in our lives. I cannot take too much credit for being busy in December. I was certainly happy to have the pay checks!
