Weymouth, MA Condos For Sale - 4th Quarter 2010 Sales Report

The Weymouth, MA condo market has seen a good dip in the sales pace in the final quarter of 2010.   However at the end of 2009 there was a push to get properties under agreement so that the buyers could take advantage of the First Time Home Buyer's Tax Credit.  With that rush now no longer in the equation, the volume of sales has dipped, or perhaps, moved back to the mean.  The good news is that pricing remains somewhat firm and within the range of sales at the time higher sales volumes.  In the final quarter of 2009 Weymouth saw 49 condos sell at an average sales price of $202,924 or $192 per square foot.  In 2010 Weymouth, MA saw 14 units sell at an average sales price of $195,761 or $203 per square foot. So the price per square foot is improving, keeping pace with the neighboring towns. However volume may not be at the frenetic pace of 2009 that got the benefit of the tax credit, pricing remains an improving situation.  All good new for both buyers and sellers.
