Known as "Mother Mendon" because it originally included the now independent towns of Milford, Bellingham, Hopedale, Uxbridge, Upton, Blackstone, Northbridge and Millville. The Mendon Twin Drive-Inn is one of the last drive-ins in the Worcester county area. It is also home to the state's largest zoo, Southwick's. Mendon is in the 01756 zip code and 508 area code.
