Nice looking tool kits Susan.  Unfortunately for me I already have all the tools I can use.

Susan ~  Last Christmas it seemed like all I got was tools, plus a really nice toolbox to carry it all in.  My husband was happy though because he knew exactly what to get me, could handle purchasing it on his own, and knew I would use them!

My issue is that I'm tired of sharing w/hubby!  And I'd like the girlie grips better.

I'm throwing away our drill because "someone" lost the regular screwdriver bit.  Guess who was the last to use it?  I agree, sharing is a long way away from caring when it comes to tools.  I have a nice kit I bought at Costco a few years back, but I rarely use most of it.  I'm thinking I'll try the Ryobi "little drill that could" next.  But I'm buying it, and I'm writing it off against the business.  I'm not wasting a gift on work stuff!

Juliet...you bring up a great point!  What a waste of a prime gifting opportunity!  Just buy it is right!  Let me know what you think of the Ryobi!  What colors does it come in (JK)!

I clicked through the link and read the reviews.  Although the kits look nice, none of them got a "must have" rating.  I like the idea of a kit, though; it would certainly make things easier.  I think I'll ask my husband to put one together for me for Christmas.  Have you checked out be-jane.com

My husband is embarrassed every year - I get tools and he gets clothes!

Monica...wow...if I looked like that in a Be-Jane T-shirt, I'd buy every tool they had (he he he).  Seriously, great website...thx for sharing!

Cari - Every tool-whielding diva needs a well dressed man by her side!  Kudos!

Susan B - Yes, I think you do better work when your tools are coordinated! ;) LOL

OMG this looks amazing!!! I have seen a company out there that makes pink tool sets. Everything is pink including the hammer! That will definitely make it easier for me to search for it in my tool bag ;)

Cheers,

I always wanted to start a tool line for women....the weight on some of the heavier tools is difficult and some of the handles are simply too unruly to work with.  I have a garage of tools but like the carrying cases! Thanks! Regards-Kathleen

Cindy - I think pink would be great...less chance of a significant other sneaking off with your tools!

Kathleen - You might be on to something...a tool purse for women serious about their projects!

I want the tool chest on wheels - looks like a suitcase iwth the pull up handle .  I saw it on TV  and I think it was a news show with some Home Depot guys on.  I will check the store.

That way I can pretend to be a stewardess while I am staging.

Susan, I never, ever in a million years thought I would be asking for 'tools' for Christmas.  LOL  I will be sending the hubby to look at the article.  Thanks for the post.  Betty

Kathleen...what a great idea!  One less thing to carry! Post of pic of it if you find it!

Betty...don't forget to ask for the hot stone massage to go along w/those tools!

Susan, we are going on a cruise in December and I've booked a 'couples massage' as a surprise for him.  He has never experienced a massage and this should be a non-threatening way to do it.  Hmmm...I wonder if I should order the hot stones too?  Betty
