Having your home on the market and having it shown is a very interesting time of the process. We hope these tips will help you make it easier.
1. Put on the lights. Turn on all the lights in the house. Buyers want light and bright so it is important to do this whenever possible.
2. Take the dog out for a walk. Not everyone loves dogs and some are allergic so it is important to have it comfortable for the buyer.
3. It's best if you also allow the buyer space and freedom to show the home and be comfortable. I would encourage you to be away for showings or at least step outside. A buyer will feel more at ease if they don't feel like they are intruding.
4. Be nice however not talkative. An innocent question could hurt you during negotiations. Always refer questions to your agent.
