Snow melt raising water levels in the river...Photos from NH.

There is still plenty of snow up at the higher elevations for the temps reached 75 today in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. This means major melting and swollen rivers.

These condos at the base of Loon Mountain are typically 100 feet or more away from the water but spring means flirting a bit with the raising river levels. The Fog is eating up the snow quickly and the Kayaks have already jumped on the white water created by the fast melt.

Rivergreen Condominiums (condos starting at 99K) built by my parent company 25 years ago...site along the Pemigewasset River - this side on the river will run nearly dry by August...But today it's pretty close to the indoor pool building . Ask me  about condos for sale in the Loon Mountain area - or open the MLS icon at the bottom of this post and search price price size or type of property throughout the region.

Steve...

It's almost a little scary, isn't it. And that is some kind of cold water for kayaking!

The scarier the better for the kayakers...but some nice water front properties and they are slope side.

Steve hope those Condos stay out of the water.  That does look a little to close of comfort :)

Steve,

Looks like a great time in a kayak!  Feel like shooting some cold white water?!

Larry. We have the boats out but I'm still pretty average when it comes to this sport, I'll let the pros go first and wait till it comes down a bit.
