Your being wiped out.

Not totally, but close.

Here's a statement from the Florida state office,

most of Lee County is ineligible

When will this occur?

According to the USDA not before September 1, 2011, so you may still go online and use the existing eligibility maps.

Beware, if this is the best program for a buyer, there needs to be a sense of urgency, such as buy now.

Here's the new proposed area;

All area contained within and beginning at the Charlotte/Lee County line and State Road 31, south along State Road 31 to Williamson Road, east on Orange River Blvd. south on Buckingham Rd., east on Cemetery Rd., north on Higgins Ave, east on Cantabria Dr. (contiguous with Mike Canal), south on Sunshine Blvd./Lee Ave., east on West 9th St. , south on Williams Ave., east on East 5th to the Hendry County line.

That description is exact, as sent in the notice from the USDA and is not currently posted on the eligibility site, as the change has not yet occurred.

So that's what's being proposed, and in all likelihood will occur (on or after Sept 1), and this is your

USDA/Rural Housing ALERT for Lee County

Hooboy.  If I understand your post, you are saying that area is no longer going to be eligible, right?  Hooboy.  Well, thanks for the post.
