Those of us who live on the South Shore of Boston know that the Plymouth nuclear power plant is in our backyard. While the plant has given area residents much needed power, recent events in Japan have made nuclear safety a priority. On Thursday, May 25, 2011, at the Thayer Academy Public Library, two MIT professors will attempt to put fact vs. fiction to test when they discuss nuclear safety. The event starts at 7:30 and there will be a presentation followed by a question and answer session. The library is located at 798 Washington Street. Please come with your questions and concerns.
