Mesquite City Memorial Day Ceremonies at Veterans Park. Starting at 8:45 AM, the public is invited to honor our American Heroes.
Dennis Hangey will open the event with bagpipe music with the invocation by Dennis Lee.
God Bless America will be sung by Janice Ramirez, Kathy Petrus, and Karen Ransdell.
The Memorial wreath will be laid by Fire Chief John Higley and acting Police Chief Troy Tanner.
Mayor - elect Mark Wier will follow with remarks, then a rifle salute by the Veterans Honor Guard.
Bugler Ron Bird will end the ceremony by playing Taps.
