Nanaimo Summer Camps
Today is the last day of school in Nanaimo. I just sang my own rendition of Alice Cooper's "Schools out for summer" as my son walked out the door. His departure got me thinking about Nanaimo summer camps and Nanaimo kids activities this summer.
Summer can be a stressful time for parents if they work. We all want our kids to have an enjoyable summer but we may be limited by the amount of time we can spend with them. With this in mind I decided to have a look at what type of summer camps and activities are available to parents this year.
Free Nanaimo kids activities this summer:
Playground Program - Available at Harewood Mining Community Water Park, Mansfield Park, Deverill Park And Pawson Park. Games, arts & Crafts and/or sports. Hours are 10-4 Monday to Friday from July 4th - August 26 *
Summer at Westwood Lake -Fridays from 1-3 Games, races and activities *
*The above free activities are all Adult accompanied activiities
All Day Nanaimo summer camps-
There are a huge assortment of half day and all day camps in Nanaimo including: Sports camps, Tennis camps, Swim camps, Soccer camps, Hockey and rock climbing camps to name a few. In addition there are a number of Nanaimo summer camps that are theme oriented including pottery,3D animation, Circus, Dance, rowing, track & field and gymnastics camps.
