EVERY DAY at the FAIR you will SEE:

Masters of the Chainsaw

Masters of the Chainsaw is a limited group of the nation's top professional chainsaw sculptors, dedicated to promoting and preserving the integrity of the art form and it's performance. We have had Marty Long at our fair for several years now and he never fails to draw a crowd. During a forty five-minute show, from behind protective netting, onlookers will observe an original and captivating high-energy performance. With chain saw roaring and chips flying, Marty's precision and skill quickly transforms a three-foot tall log into a true work of art. Nearly every show will result with a chainsaw carving being-produced from start to finish, with as many as four chainsaw carvings per day. Two days during the fair we auction off the carvings at a live auction.

Lisa Dufresne has turned her love of animals into a lifelong career. From her youngest days growing up in Worcester, Massachusetts, her natural skill with horses led her to a career performing, choreographing and competing with her horses. With more than twenty years experience training animal acts of all kinds, her performances with her animals have delighted audiences across the world. Lisa's horses have waltzed their way into Japan, danced in the Main Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria in New York City and circled the United States for various circuses, stage shows, fairs and horse theatres, including a number of years performing with Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. She has been featured in a number of television programs, and publications, covering her work with horses, zebras, camels, llamas, pigs and sea lions. She is also, an active clinician, appearing at Equitana USA, and Equine Affaires, demonstrating her training techniques. Lisa is a Silver Medalist in the United States Dressage Association and has won numerous awards competing in dressage at the international level with her Danish Warmblood and Oldenburg horses.

Lance Gifford started his magical career in Billerica, Massachusetts. Over the years, Gifford has toured throughout much of the US and Canada, amazing audiences with his fast-paced and highly entertaining magical illusion show. Lance Gifford's unique style and flare for theatrical presentation sets his illusions and magic tricks apart from those of the average magician. He and his company perform some of the world's most modern and intriguing illusions, including the "Metamorphosis," once performed by the late, great Harry Houdini. Lance Gifford & Company continue to entertain audiences using numerous animals. Some of these "family members" in his troupe include doves, rabbits, a chow chow, toy and standard poodles, a Macaw parrot and Burmese python snakes. Witnessing a performance by Lance Gifford & Company is not only "magical" but memorable.
