Pumpkin Decorating Contest a Real Success for the Third Year in a Row!

Prospecting Pumpkins!  We are the Bradbury Team from Coldwell Banker Heritage in

Quakertown, PA. USA.  This year, for the third year in a row, we delivered a pumpkin to each and every house in three neighborhoods in our area.  We have been farming these areas quite aggressively.  Last week, each house found a pumpkin on their front porch, with a post card describing the pumpkin decorating contest.  A week later, we did the judging.   There was a winner from each neighborhood, who received a Gift card from Toys R US!   This has been extremely popular!  We have had scary pumpkins, funny pumpkins, and silly pumpkins as well.

This year we actually delivered 400 pumpkins within our farming area.  We had over 130 participating pumpkins!  That is incredible.  Everyone was a winner and received a bag of candy from the Bradbury Team, and a Decorative Orange participation ribbon.

This is a GREAT idea!!!!! I really love it and will talk to my husband about it for next year in one of our farming communities. What great participation you had. How many did you have the frist year? Congrats on a successful campaign.

Great idea- Time consuming  and expensive but probably worth it if the farm thinks of you when wanting to sell their new home.    Where did you get 400 pumpkins?  - I thought there was a pumpkin shortage
