DREAMS FOUNDATION, INC. is a non-profit corporation we founded to meet the needs of persons with yet unfulfilled dreams. Maybe it's first home dream; maybe it's a trip to Disneyland (we love the Make a Wish Foundation). The all important matter is not necessarily the shape of the dream, but the justification created by the applicant to receive the funding to achieve the unmet dream.
You see, we want to really help people to achieve what they have come to believe is not possible; people who've lost faith in their dreams. Our solicitations and awards will come in many varieties (e.g., cash, goods, services, travel, etc.) and be geared to different occasions, adults or children, teenagers, families, or even special membership clubs. It's really wide open, and it's not limited to only Nevada, although this is the home state of DREAMS FOUNDATION, INC., and where the "dream funding" will begin.
How does this relate to Realtors and real estate? Very simply, most of our realtors and licensed agents believe in and agree with the "dream" and are willing to make a modest donation from each closing to DREAMS FOUNDATION, INC. to achieve the goals of the FOUNDATION, for which they will receive a federal income tax deductible receipt. All that we await is the final approval of DREAMS FOUNDATION, INC.'s 501(c)3 status from the IRS, and when we kick it off, we'll let everyone know we'rel off and running with our unique brand of "dream catcher!"
