I just figured out a little more. I am buzzing along adding photos to my AR posts now. I am posting the blog draft tomorrow with Riley Rover and my Stoney's Crabcake Sandwich. I was going to easily add the photos in the new iCloud.com Photostream on my desktop to post the blog draft then but I decided to ratch up the challenge and do it with Flickr on the iPAD for practice. I am becoming a speed demon! No more problem than inserting a YouTube video and just minutes extra to make your post photo pretty.
Anyway, when you upgrade to PRO on Flickr the embed code is one step easier to find. Also, you can upload unlimited this and that. I did not look that hard at the step up Flickr Pro 25 buck benefits but I wondered if this tidbit would help you if you have more professional photos. It simply made sense to go from a limit of a few hundred photos to endless photos since the iCloud.com Photostream limit is a thousand. Oh, remember to download the Flickr app. More cliff notes? I used MEDIUM for the embed code to copy and paste in the HTML tab of Active Rain. The HTML codes to center are < then the word Center then this symbol >. Do this symbol </ then the word Center then this symbol > after the photo HTML embed code. I cannot type it exactly here because it alters this text.
Then.......I started thinking I wanted photos not in my current photo stream. So I put the Flickr email address for me in contacts on my iPAD. Then I went to my photos on my iPAD and sent a few of thepm to my new Flickr email account. It is the exact same concept as sending a photo to Posterous or Twitter or Facebook. Easy, easy. A few minutes later my old stored email iPAD photos were there on Flickr. Then I inserted the Crabcake, the empty lunch box, Riley and my Picnik collage on the Draft blog post. Look for it in the morning. Stoney's actually ships their crabcakes in case you want one. Stay tuned for the Crabcake iPAD photo post tomorrow.
