What is the Best Way To Market Your Home? The answer is worth its weight in Gold!

So, you are selling your home and you decide on an agent.....maybe struggle to come up with a price for your home. You sign the listing agreement, the sign goes up...and someone comes and takes pictures of your home..... STOP!! and you thought the most important part of listing your home was everything leading up to that point.

I am here to tell you......photos and the other media taken of your home... that goes out to the abyss that is the world wide web...is the one of the most important components of listing your home..

In this day and age....when someone shows up at your home......it is the second showing... What got them there?  You got it....Photos, video...... whatever media they saw that inspired them to come to your home..

I just recently took on a listing...the home did not sell previously....I always review previous endeavors so I can try to improve........ Below are before (that were used to market the listing in the MLS) and after photos.....we have had 5 showings in the first week on the market.. previously they had maybe 1 or 2 in three months...

If you want to sell your home....in this 2.0 world.... your pictures have to be on point.

Just plain lazy, if agents don't post 25 photos or the maximum allowed. How many of us come across listings with one photo and a bad one at that? Either it is to small, or it's blurry. Come on folks we are in the digital age are we not?

I agree with you one hundred percent. People want photos and videos. The more the better.

You did a great job with the photos!  What kind of camera did you use?  What edit program?  I like the light!

Hi Konnie...Your photos are far superior.  I'm surprised that a photo with a person in it is allowed in your MLS.  Ours will not allow that which I think is a very good idea.

With those showings you should get this home sold soon.  Good luck.

I used a Nikon...love it.. just an SLR, but I adjust the iso I think... basically when it is dark inside and light outside..... the picture indoors will come out dark...so if you adjust that... (how slow the shutter is) is allows more light inside...no fancy photo editing software....just on my mac... :)
