It’s Greek Festival Time on the Treasure Coast – Don’t Miss the Fun and Food

<!-- end .lead_photo_caption --><!-- end .lead_photo --> —The 6th annual Greek Festival sponsored by St. John Greek Orthodox church of Martin county, will be held January 14th through 17th in Hobe sound. While the location is new (US-1 South, next to Hobe Sound Public Library) the format will be a familiar one to Martin county fair-goers: Traditional Greek foods, pastries, wine and beer as well as soft drinks. Live music by the Hellenic Band of South Florida and a special guest, George Stathos of NYC on clarinet. During the band down time, a guest DJ from Taverna OPA will spin the tunes. During Saturday and Sunday, the Nisiotes Dancers of St. Augustine will entertain on the dancefloor. While many vendors will occupy the indoor spaces, much of the site will feature the big tents for comfortable dining and entertainment, as well as many fun rides for the kids. Admission is $3 with children 12 and under free. In addition, all day on Thursday and until 4pm on Friday admission for all will be free. Free parking as well as a shuttle bus will be provided in the Winn-Dixie and Publix parking lots on Bridge road
