An Afternoon in Seacoast New Hampshire

Ballroom dancing c judy tuscanoWe took a little trip today with our fellow Realtor, AR members and good friends Monika & Jay McGillicuddy.lunch c judy tuscano

It started as a way to support some fellow Prudential Verani Realty agents who were holding a Broker Open House at a new project in North Hampton, NH.

They had asked for our support and promised us ballroom dancing lessons and lunch.

Not a bad way to spend a couple hours we thought so we climbed into Jay's GOLF (his license plate) car and drove on over.

We had a bite to eat, watched the dance lessons then checked out the project, left a card (hope one of us wins the door-prize) then we left to take a drive up the coast.Rye coast c judy tuscano The tide was high and so were the waves. Just beautiful. We only have 17 miles of coastline here in NH but I love every inch of it.

We stopped and took photos of each other and we just plain enjoyed each others company. Moni & I took pictures while Jay drove and Mike rode shotgun.Moni c judy tuscano

We drove up to Newcastle and into Portsmouth where we stopped for more pictures of Strawberry Bank decorated for the Christmas Season.

New Hampshire Seacoast is a great place no matter the season.

Judy, you did a great job with your show! It looks like you had a wonderful time and New Castle looks like a great town. It sure is an old town...1693!

I hope you're having a wonderful holiday season so far!

Linda - Thanks for the compliment. It was a nice change from the ordinary. Newcastle is a lovely old town with a quaint village area.

Moni - The food was good but the company was better. Thanks for having us along for the afternoon. We need to get together again soon. Oh that's right Christmas Tea on the 7th and bowling with the Marth's on the 14th or is it the 13th?

Bowling is on the 14th. They arrive on Thursday afternoon and Jay and I will be at our office Christmas party till at least 3pm so I thought the 14th would be better for bowling.

They won't be staying long.

I enjoyed the trip up the coast as always and it was a little chilly but enjoyable. The carrot cake was to die for, almost. LOL

Hi Judy

I loved your video, it brought back memories. I have not been to New Hampshire for years, but I always remember it as the quintessential New England State! Just wanted to mention that if you ever make it to RI with Moni and Jay, I used to be the president of a bowling league (many years ago, but I think I can still manage a string:)

Karren - If we make it down to RI with Moni & Jay we would love to go bowling with you:) I could also be pursuaded to throw a string or two but only candlepin no ten pins for me. Thanks for stopping by.

Moni - Thanks for the clarification - I am wishing i had tried the carrot cake - you guys are making me hungry.

Jay - Chilly it was but nothing compared to today. Wow was that wind cold. Carrot Cake - we must ask where they got that.

Adam - Yes, it's just enough to get us an important deep water port - Portsmouth, home of the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard which the government has tried unsuccessfully to close for years. We do hold our coastline dear hear. we have some breathtaking views and a good portion of the coastline is unobstructed as US 1A hugs the coast for a good portion especially in Hampton, North Hampton & Rye.

Karen

If you come for a night of bowling with us...you need to be prepared as it's gets wild. Jay turns in Chuckles, Judy into giggles, Mr T...lol well lets just say you need to experience it.

I of course remain.... totally composed.

Ok Judy, let's hear it. Does Miss Monika remain totally composed?  Nevermind, this is a public post and what happens in NH stays in NH! :) Although, I am intrigued:)
