Did You Know...?

I was reading over some holiday events in our area when I stumbled across a little fact I've never heard before.  Did you know that Christmas was first declared a legal holiday in 1836 by the state of Alabama?  Can you guess which state was the last to declare?

I finally started my Christmas shopping today.  After coming back from Thanksgiving in Florida the entire family got sick for a week and have rarely left the house.  Today I made a trip to the store and got most of the shopping done for our 3 boys.  They are getting very excited and have been asking daddy when he's going to get us a tree with lights and candy canes on it.  Walmart was a mad house.  It's that time of the year!

Happy Holidays Everyone!

Oklahoma is what I think.  How did I do?  Merry Christmas!
