Let me list a few of the Community Organiztions and contact information so you will know a little bit of what our wonderful city has top offer.

Cheatham County Historical & Geneological Association - Kingston Springs Chapter
Meets on the 4th Tuesday of the Month at the South Cheatham Public Library. This group sponsors a Christmas Home Tour in December, a Garden Tour in June, an annual historic calendar, and the Annual Christmas Tree Lighting. The Association is presently working on developing an historical archive which will be available also on CD. Membership is $15 annually for an individual, $25 for a family, $100 for a lifetime membership. Membership for citizens over 80 years of age is free. Call 615/792-2623 for more information.

Boy Scouts of America
This program is comprehensive and well attended from Tiger Cubs all the way to Eagle Scout. Please call for more information.

Friends of the Library
This group offers financial support through membership and fundraising for computers and special programming and other materials. Meetings are the second Monday of every month. Call 615/952-4752 for more information.

Book Nutz is another group through the library that anyone can join! They discuss books and meet with fellow reading enthusiasts on the 4th Monday every month at 7 pm.

Community Theatre
The Theatre conducts 4 plays per year. Season passes also are available. All performances are held at the Harpeth High School Theatre. Contact them at 259-2001 or mailto:cheathamtheater@aol.com for details and showtimes.

Arts Council of Cheatham County
This organization offers several art competitions throughout the year. Also sponsors the Acoustic Music Fest in Ashland City.

We have a wonderful park over in Pegram for those young or just young at heart. Our park is railroad themed! Friends of Pegram Park. Pegram Park meets all ADA Guidelines.
