Bank of America Short Sales : Updated Process

There are many changes taking place at Bank of America. We wanted to share just a few things you should be aware of. 

1. April 2 - Webinar to learn about new BOA Short Sale Process Improvements
2. April 13 - BEFORE this date the Submit Short Sale Offer, Upload Offer Documents and Upload Supporting Documents tasks must be completed.
   
3. April 14 - New Process Begins - You can expect that the following new documents will be required for short sales that have an offer: 
   

• Purchase Contract including the Buyer's Acknlowdgment & Disclosure 
• HUD-1
• IRS Form 4506-T
• Bank of America Short Sale Addendum
• NEW BOA Third-Party Authorization Form - Although now you can continue to use the old Bank of America 3rd Party Authorization Form, starting April 14, BOA will only accept the new form. Our suggestion is to start using the form NOW! Using old documents are only another reason for the short sale to be delayed.

  4. April 19 - Task-by-Task Training on Refined Equator Process
