Thinking outside the Box in Edmonton! If You Can't Find What You Want, Make It Yourself: Session 3!
I've been trying to find some abstract art that I like and that I can afford.
Not so easy, most of it is very expensive, not the right size and the colours aren't what I want.
So I decided to try and paint some myself.
The second one I'm working on is still unfinished, but I did this one today.
Kathie, the lady whose studio I have been playing in, wants to buy it...

Nick! Thanx! I have too many things I like to do and not enough time to do them all... I find it very relaxing, so if people actually like what I do and will pay for it, why not spend more time on it...

What are your others? I know about acting stuff and of course your staging so you have more. A busy and talented lady.
Sharon, I have too many jobs.I try not to talk about the other stuff, because I've had people tell me to focus on one thing all my life, but I'm not built that way...
I act in medical simulations as a patient/nurse/doctor; also as a character for murder mysteries and tv; I make balloon animals and face paint for children's events; I'm in a band with my husband and 2 other fellows; I'm a hairstylist and run a company called Hair on Wheels, going to people's homes and hospitals, and I am a Property Stylist, and maybe artist... There are other jobs I do, but they are very occasional, I do have a landscape design certfication and I like making costumes, clothing and jewellery, but there's no time...
Holy smokes, I just read your list of talents above and I am exhausted! You apparently were first in every line when God was handing out all the gifts!
Shar, Thanx! Everyone has talents, many of them, most of us just haven't found what they are or don't bother to use them. I've been told all my life to focus on one thing and only do that, but I've tried to only have one job and I climbed the walls. My Indian Totem is the Ptarmigan (Whirling Dervish) when I found that out everyone I was with just laughed because it's so true. I always have a million things on the go!
