You know, every day we're inundated with offers to spend our hard-earned money on training. I have some extra $$$ spend and I've wisely given myself a limit. Here's where I need the collective brain power of the Active Rain community.
What should I spend it on? Is there one thing in your library you can't live without or that changed your business?
If you can't come up with something smart to spend it on, I'll have to spend it on shoes or a new bag. So, no skin off my back but I'm hoping to get something other than compliments from my friends on my choice of shoe/bag.
Here's what I've invested in already, to avoid duplicates.
- ABR & GRI designations (GRI almost complete)
- Buffini's 100 Days to Greatness (35 days left to go). Going to Training Camp in January and Turning Point in April.
But, I feel like I'm missing some basic selling skills.
Here's what I'd probably be interested in:
- Presentations to Sellers/Buyers & Dialogues (not how to put a powerpoint presentation together but how to handle the listing appt, what to bring with me, handling objections & different personalities)
- Blogging/technology
- Developing Marketing Plan for either Buyers/Sellers
- Pricing
I just went to the RE/MAX New England Sales Rally and saw David Knox & Howard Brinton - great stuff but is it all worth the cost?
