If you are anything like me or my wife, you love the Ramsey Farmer's Market in Ramsey NJ. Open on Sunday's, it's the perfect place to visit when you are strolling through Ramsey, NJ. Open on Sunday's from June 10-November 18th, it's the place to be if you live in the Ramsey, NJ area.
What we love about the Ramsey Farmer's Market is the live music that is available each weekend. Families, friends, and local residents of Ramsey, NJ flock to the market and listen to the music while enjoying the beautiful weather. As a Ramsey NJ Realtor, I love telling my client's about the market. It's something for everyone to enjoy.
Music at the Market:
"RAMSEY PAYS IT FORWARD"
Many vendors from the Ramsey Farmers' Market will participate in Ramsey's Paying it Forward Program at the weekly market. Each Sunday, produce and product will be donated by participating vendors to the Center for Food Action, our local non-profit food pantry, for distribution to those in need. Almost one-half of the Center for Food Action's clients are children and 12% are seniors.
Paying it Forward is a simple but profound concept. Those who are fortunate donate to those in need. It may be that just by the gesture of lending a helping hand, at some point, the recipient may be able to help another. And so it goes and grows. It is hoped that members of the community will join us in the Paying it Forward Program and bring along non-perishable items as part of their regular Sunday market visit. The Ramsey Historical Association, sponsors of the Ramsey Farmers Market, will have a collection bin for donations to the Center for Food Action every Sunday during the market's season.
When you have nothing to do on a Sunday afternoon, come out to the Ramsey Farmer's Market and enjoy what they have to offer.
