Real Estate Agent with Integrity Real Estate of Florida, Inc.

Being a real estate agent I hear this alot.  They had my home listed for 6 months and it didn't sell or why couldn't I get my home sold?  If this is the case with you, I am sorry that your home didn't sell.  Please don't be discouraged.  Don't give up just because things didn't work out the first time.  It's not too late to get it done right.  There are plenty of buyers willing to pay full market value for a nice home like yours and you will have that "sold" sign before you know it.

I have listed below some of the excuses that have been heard most often for why someone's home didn't sell, see if you recognize any of them.

  • Real Estate market is too slow
  • Interest rates are going up
  • It's a slow time of year
  • The weather has been bad
  • Nothing is selling
  • There aren't many qualified buyers out there
  • Your price is too high

Despite any and all excuses you may have heard, your home can be one of the hottest  listings on the market!  For Sale inventory is the lowest in years.  It makes sense that this is the right time sell your house.

There are some reasons that your home may have not sold.  One would be that it wasn't priced correctly.  You have to have your home priced correctly for a buyer to purchase it.  The second reason is that you may have needed to do a little sprucing up before listing your home.  I have prepared a list "Preparing Your Home" that gives your tips on what you can do to the interior and exterior of your home to spruce it up.  To find out if your home has been priced correctly, you should have a Current Market Analysis or a Home Audit done on your home.  If you would be interested in these reports, FREE AND AT NO OBLIGATION  feel free to contact me and I will prepare a package to send to you to help with the sell of your home.  The reason i am doing this is to help out a fellow neighbor and there is no obligation.

If you would like this package sent to you, please contact me at meyer2332@comcast.net or 941-275-7668.  You can even call me if you just want to ask a question.

Price is a BIG reason why homes don't sell.  I think if everyone would view the competition, they might change their tune on their price.  Every home can have a buyer if the price is right.

I agree with you.  If the clients would let us guide them on the price then they would probably have their home sold alot sooner, but you hear well so and sos sold for... or I know we can get more than that.

Another reason homes do not sell is because sellers make showing the home so difficult.  If you have to give too much advance notice and sellers are very rigid about showing instructions, than lots of agents will just not show the property.
