West Linn Arts Festival September 8th & 9th 2012 at Willamette Park

One of the reasons why I love living in West Linn, Oregon is that there is always something going on, especially in the Historic Willamette neighborhood. This weekend is the West Linn Arts Festival in Willamette Park.

This juried arts show has lots of really great mix of fine art, textiles, garden art and more. Last year I snagged myself a creamer and sugar bowl from a ceramic artist. I was VERY tempted to buy a gate made out of old recycled tools, but I really had no place for it....but man, I am a sucker for really great garden art.

The weather promises to be nice, so get out in the sunshine, peruse the many booths and pick up a few things that you just won't be able to resist!

Festival Hours:

Saturday 9/7/12 from 10am-6pm

Sunday 9/8/12 from 10am-5pm

Cindy, I too love garden art and I'm always looking for big outdoor pottery and sculpture. I already have a house completely full of great ceramics since my wife makes, trades and buys it. When I first opened your post I was sort of expecting to see a post about "Feast Portland" because it's being advertising down here on TV.

Hi Lloyd, isn't that funny that they advertise that fair down by you but I've yet to see any advertising here..at least not on TV. How lucky are you to have an artist in residence!

Hi Tammy, there were lots of those kinds of things at this fair..unique, similar pieces by the same artist, but yet each one unique.

I'm quite certain they want us to come up, spend our money, then go back home to CA. I've seen the commercial a few times and I don't watch that much TV. I'm not positive I got this commercial copied right.
