Doing Business in Mexico class

By

I am really excited about co-teaching a class in Medford on June 10, 2008.  It is called "Doing Business in Mexico".    The other speaker, Linda Neil, founder of Linda Neil Properties and The Settlement Company, both of which are in La Paz, Mexico will be there too.  She is an amazing person.  She started the first escrow company in Baja Mexico.   Go to the group blog of http://oregonrealtors.org/ibc/ibc_blog/ibcblog.html.  Look for posts on international business, and please join.  It is not just for Realtors.

I got started in real estate in Mexico about 2 years ago in the Cabo San Lucas area.  It has been an incredible learning experience for me, and attending this class will give you an inside experience of what real estate is like in Mexico.  Go to this website:

http://www.realtor.org/rmodaily.nsf/0/3568a3cc4b6aa1ef86257222004e461c?OpenDocument.  To see what NAR has to say about this class.

If you want to see some of my international listings go to http://www.buyhomesinmexico.net/   also it is a good place to find out about metric conversions and other information.

If you have questions, email me at krista@buyhomesinmexico.net

Adios.....

Go Krista! This will be a great class. I took the class in Portland last year and found the information to be very valuable. I hope you have a huge turnout.

How do you get licensed to sell real estate in Mexico? Is there a huge difference in the process?

Lisa - you actually do not have to be licensed in Mexico to practice real estate.  You do have to have a visa though to get paid.  There is a lot of opportunity to make referrals though.
