What Emerged from the Snow was a Go-Kart, Barbecue, Bicycles...-- These Ladies Mean Business -- Episode 12!

Give me a break, or give me a sledge hammer to break down the trash!

How can it be?  A recent REO I was assigned was only four years old, but upon entry it appeared like a mine field that had exploded.  It was a nice neighborhood (okay, I was biased), but how could they have so destroyed this house.  The carpets were "stained" a different color, kind of like polka dot carpeting.  The rooms were full of boxes of garbage.  The inside of the three-care garage looked like a garage sale gone bad -- everything was disgustingly bad, broken, filthy, destroyed, and there were pet cages and feces all over the garage.  Ah, but the backyard was better!

Fortunately it was covered with snow, but what emerged from the snow was a go-kart, barbecue, bicycles, tools -- get the drift?

What's so amazing about it all (even all the marks and coloring on the interior walls) is that after I have my trash-out crew come in and clean and repair the property, this will be a terrific buy for a family, and feel like a brand new house.

What a wonderful business we're in!

Actually, it did not sound that bad.  Paint brush and trash can?  It was probably not too much fun to deal with that, but what does not kill you will only make you stronger.  Think of the paycheck, and think of the people who would love to break into the REO market.

Thanks, Nate-- I'm grateful for the training and opportunity I've had in the REO market; I'm thankful to the entire team and to the buyers (they make my job a lot easier).

Terry, my prayers are with you and your dear husband, even when I get behind on my AR.  Your "speciality" as I percieve it to be requirea a huge amount of patience, and a term of something that I can't seem to find right now.  (It probably isn't an English word.)  You are in a tough line of work.  However, from reading your various posts, I know you are right were God wants you to be.   Hang in there.

Grace and peace,

Hi Sondra -- thank you for dropping by, tuning in, and UNDERSTANDING.  REOs are a great "book of business" yet full of hardship and frustration for those losing their homes, incredulity over the condition in which many are left, and...I CAN'T BELIEVE THESE MOMENTS at times when I actually get in the house.  God bless you!

By the way, your comments on Andrew's post were indicative of some writing genius in you!
