Two for Tuesday?
How about a happy real estate story? I was holding a broker open today at a stunning ranch style home. There were many agents who stopped by to have a look, say hello and grab a bite to eat. I met some new people and had a chance to chat with some old friends.
As I was closing up to leave, a gentleman walked in. He asked if he could look around. I said sure but I just turned off all the lights. He was interested in the floor plan and having a look around. He mentioned he lived up the street and was thinking of selling in the spring. I gave him my card and told him I would love the opportunity to market his home. It sounded lovely. We parted with a laugh and a smile.
I picked up my papers, the last pieces of the lunch fare and headed to the car. My phone rang and it was a past client who said hello, do you remember me? And do you want another listing? To which I of course responded, yes, I remember you and I would love another listing.... I have an appointment with them on Thursday.
As one door closes another opens....actually two! And there is a showing on the stunning lake view ranch tomorrow!
