Just Listed: The Landmark beach town cottage where Bruce Springsteen lived in 1974-1975 when he wrote the entire "Born to Run" album. West End, New Jersey 07740
Bruce often talks about living here, including in the Born to Run documentary made in 2005 on the 30th anniversary of it's re-mastered release. In the documentary, Bruce returns to 7 1/2 West End Court and reminisces about how he would sit at the window in front of his piano while composing Thunder Road, Born to Run, Tenth Avenue Freeze Out, Backstreets, She's the One and Jungleland.
Here's a link to Bruce talking about his house:

The 5 room, 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is bigger than it looks at about 828 square feet. It is just 120 feet from beach access (at my old apartment where I lived in 1974-1975 when Bruce lived here). It has high ceilings and is built in the traditional Southern "Shot gun" style. The lot is 25 x 95, Zoned commercial-residential (C-3)
It is zoned C-3 Neighborhood Commercial, so the possibilities are endless.
I have it listed at $349,900
What's it worth? It's priceless :-)
