The First step in the process for getting a VA loan for Fort Leonard Wood is getting your COE or your DD214 forms. You need to have these to prove you are eligible for the VA home loan benefit. The Certificate of Eligibility is simply a form that states you are eligible to use your VA home loan. You can get it online by following the instructions found here from the Department of Veterans affairs.
If you are a retired or non-active duty service member you can file to get your DD214, which is a record of your service to our country. You are only eligible for this benefit if you have any other than a dishonorable discharge from the armed forces. You can obtain that from this website (beware the site is only compatible with Internet Explorer.)
