Thumb Drives
Flash drives or thumb drives have become a great data storage device. They're easier to carry than CDs or hard drives - just plug them into a USB port. They're great for exchanging data - just slip one into your computer, copy the file, and then put it into another computer, copy the file - and voila, the file is transferred immediately. Slide presentations and conference notes are just a few of the uses. You can get them in different shapes and colors, in monogrammed metal or a leather case, you can get one that looks like a pen. You can carry them on a keychain, or around your neck, or in a pocket or wallet. It's interesting - they hold more data than my first computer!
